Next Update: 6.18.25

We’re excited to share that Riverview School District will be transitioning to a new Student Information System (SIS) called Synergy in 2025!

This upgrade will replace our current system (Qmlativ) and bring a more modern, user-friendly experience for families, students, and staff. With Synergy, we’re building a stronger, more connected way to manage student information, communication, and support.

Why the Change?

We listened to feedback from staff and reviewed the features and costs of different systems. After careful evaluation, Synergy stood out as the best choice to meet the needs of our district and our families.

What Families Can Look Forward To:

  • Streamlined online registration - easier for new and returning families

  • Multi-language support across the system

  • Better integration with other school tools you already use

  • A family-friendly interface that’s simple to navigate

  • Mobile-friendly access so you can check information on the go

  • Quick and easy access to student schedules, grades, and attendance

  • More intuitive gradebooks and communication tools

  • Ongoing improvements and new features throughout the year

Working Together for a Smooth Launch

We’re collaborating with experienced partners and other districts (like Everett, Bellevue, and Northshore) to ensure a successful transition. Our target launch is August 2025, with a backup plan for August 2026 if more time is needed to ensure a smooth rollout.

Behind the scenes, we’re already working hard—reviewing data, configuring the system, and setting up strong privacy and security protocols.

What’s Next?

We’re expanding our project team and involving school staff across the district to help design a system that works well for everyone. This includes registrars, counselors, teachers, and office teams.

Communication, Training & Support

Here’s what you can expect over the next several months:

  • Regular updates on our progress

  • A dedicated Synergy website with FAQs, guides, and support

  • A clear plan for training and communication before the launch

We’re here to support you every step of the way. If you have questions, please reach out anytime at rsdsynergy@rsd407.org. We’ll also update our FAQ to make sure everyone stays informed.

Thank you for being a valued part of the Riverview community. We’re excited about this change and the many benefits it will bring to our students, families, and schools.
